About the league - How it works:
- Find yourself a doubles partner or play singles, or both. You can sign up to play in up to three different categories.
- Approximate levels of play will be :
Beginner – 2.5 – 3.0
Intermediate – 3.5 – 4.0
Advanced – 4.0 -4.5 – and above
Placement in a division will be based on USTA NTRP rating if available, play history, and scheduling needs.
The categories are:
- Ladies Weekday Doubles
- Ladies Weekend/Evening Doubles
- Ladies Singles - Weekday
- Ladies Singles - Weekend/Eve.
- Men's Doubles - Weekend/Eve.
- Men's Singles - Weekend/Eve.
- Mixed Doubles - Weekend/Eve.
- We will provide you with your schedule of weekly opponents. You schedule the day and time of the match. The “Home” team for that week determines the location of the match.
- Want more flexibility? You have to the end of the season to finish any match as long as all parties agree! We have even scheduled a “make-up” week at the end of the season to get in any match you couldn’t get in during the regular season!
- There will be approximately 5-7 matches in each seasonal schedule.
- Substitutions are only allowed for Doubles; substitutions are not allowed for Singles.
- If a player cannot complete their season, a permanent replacement is to be found.
For all categories, home courts are to be within Greenville County. Courts may be public or private. Don't live in Greenville County? There are plenty of public courts within the county that you may use as your "Home" court. Please check with your home facilities for any guest fees.
Please see "RULES" for further explanation of the various categories.
