8. For Doubles, does my partner have to have the same rating as me?

No. This is a flexible tennis league. You may play with a partner with a different rating. We recommend that you and your partner be no more than 1.0 apart in NTRP ratings. For competitive placement, we will average the two partners’ ratings and place similar ratings in the same division.

Substitutions are not allowed for Singles. If you cannot play for the remainder of the season, you will need to find a permanent replacement. HOWEVER, substitutes are allowed for Doubles. If a doubles player cannot complete the remainder of a season, finding a permanent replacement is recommended.

Currently, we are scheduling 5-7 matches per league season.

11. Can I play in multiple categories?

A player may sign up for up to three categories per season, but a player may not play in more than one division in a category without permission of the league coordinator.
